Default what to eat before bed

what do you guys eat before bed i'm currently on 1.5 scoops of whey in milk and peanut butter. I did used to have yogurt, milk and nuts.

Getting sick of peanut butter now though and wondering what else i could have im going through a bulk atm so not too fusy about low carb options and i'm always hungry before bed so something satisfying is needed.

what you're having is pretty good, I would add in 100g of oats for extra cals though.

or as mentioned above cottage cheese before your shake.

the peanut butter is good in the shake as it also slows digestion, also have another shake by your bed incase you wake in the night so you can down that to help keep the nutrients flowing

Cottage cheese with sliced pineapple.. it actually tastes really good, failing that just get a slow digesting casien protein shake, something like BSN syntha-6, that has 6 different types of protein which will last you until the morning

ive had syntha-6 before was nice stuff.
sadly its not in my budget this month as i went overboard and ordered phd whey, phd synergy iso-7, super pump, glutamine, multi-vits and creatine. My kitchen cupboard looks like a supplement shop with all of that and my brothers sups lol

nuts are good but you need the correct balance of omega 3 to 6 ratio

best product being UDOs oil, pretty expensive though

just try and get in at least 2 meals a week with either salmon or mackerel

tuna is not classed as an oily fish as far as I know, I would stick to the above varieties.

its a good idea to supplement with extra fish oils anyway as there is a host of health benefits to be gained from them.

my mega bulk late night or bed time snack used to be 4 slices of brown bread as toast and a tin of reduced salt/sugar benas, i often used to wake up through the night (still do) really hungry, this stops that for sure did wonders for my bulking....

these days my pre bed supplementation is a protein shake, containing different types of protein for time released digestion 1 hour before bed, then ZMA and Tribulus right before bed, this is working really well for me, the ZMA caps really help with sleep, plus ZMA and Tribulus stacked is a pretty potent mix and helps with testosterone levels.

Bullit what casein shake would you recommend?

I've had syntha-6 before but it was pretty sweet and was only partially made from casein

What benefits would you say you've seen from ZMA? Just better sleep?

Has the Tribulus had any noticable effects on you?

Been looking into ZMA and Tribulus, moneys a bit tight so Its one or the other. Im wanting something to boost energy really because im always tired, No matter whether I get 5 hours sleep or 10. Yet if ive been drinking the night before, the next day im full of energy?

you sleep like the dead with ZMA! and i have noticed gains recently, could just be the amount i'm eating, and all the other supplements i take aswell.. but the ZMA and tribulus stack is known to be pretty good... i will update once i finish both, and see if its made any huge changes
