after spaeking to a few ppl i will be mate, not a full clutch as i already have a helix cover, im going to go with their own 6 paddle cerametallic friction plate,
manc on here and someone else bought one a while back(4 paddle iirc?), for his boosted vts, handled 170bhp no problem with no slippage, came with a sachs cover and their plate,
afer reading alot and speaking to some ppl, their oe uprated stuff is total wank, but their cerametallic paddle clutchs are rated well

its the one and only i plan to use.
its torque that makes the clutch slip in most cases. an NA saxo makes little of it.

vts saxsport, milltek manifold. at the moment a c2 induction kit.
theres a atspeed billet fly, pugsport sump, silicone hose kit, mocal cooler and a pair of alloy crank/alt pulleys in there too.
have a set of new 708s and will have ecu and at power boddies end jan.

yes im actually thinking of just buying new injectors and the ecu, leaving the bodies out. for what ill pay on the boddies ill see very little gain on the 708's as i will run a standard head.
i do want that raw sound from them tho.
to be fair my car sounds like it has boddies anyway lol

for most cases a standard valeo will be fine, but if your using your car solely or very regularly on track, an uprated clutch is a sensible mod, its not so much the power/torque as the frequent hard launches and hard shifting &general track abue, as well as alot of ppl using uprated mounts and suspension, and very grippy tyres, puts alot more stress on your clutch and other components, im upgrading becuase im going turbo, so the torque will be no good on stock clutch, a valeo should be capable of running 180bhp n/a before you need to worry, but with all the added abuse its worth going uprated

i managed 15+ trackdays on a new valeo. when i changed it there was loads life left. i only changed as i swaped a box over. i think it helps if theyre run in right too!

mate, bodies will effect the car, it not so much the top end it will help it the mid range torque will be better with bodies should see alittle top end but mainly the mid range will be alot better when using bodies over stock single body.
it not always about the top end power, as you will need good mid range too, to help around the track as well.

dont be offended but do you know from experience? or just from the regular chit chat that goes on in here?
if so would you say theyre worth it for the £800-1,000 they are going to cost me?

I know I been on the track with and without and it felt better, had better pull coming out of the corners when on slower corner when the revs drop of abit more, and when using a higher lift cam the on cam as such gets abit smaller but higher rpm so with the added mid range will help out on track, just how I felt, I got my bodies at a better price cost me only about 600 quid for atpower bodies.
But is it worth an extra ££££ that is up to you maybe not the most important part, but in my eyes would be worth it at some point,
I gain accross the whole rev range, bhp didn't increase much but the torque did and at 3k got about 50 more torque which dont sound much but it a nice gain.

Didn't mean to say 50 at all mate sorry off my phone I meant to say 25 lb ft torque then it drop off abit but over the rev range it about 10 lb ft torque after I fitted my bodies and mapped.
