Alot of people when they get an idea in there head, normally won't listen to someone saying it's a bad idea.
All you people who want a diffuser, one which actually works, have you thought about how your going to make an effecient effective splitter, a device to keep air from being sucked in from the side and the angle/rake of the rear diffuser, the speeds needed to achieve an effecient aero package, a wind tunnel to test the aero package? thats just the icing on the cake.
clio 200 won't be a full diffuser, just a rear section of plastic for looks.

im happy with where im at with my rear bumper mate. making an under floor belly for the boot wont harm anything. hardly costs much to make. i dont see it as a bad idea.
i feel that this has reduced drag at high speeds.

I'm not saying it's a bad idea. There shouldn't be any detrimental side effects. It just won't produce much downforce

i just want to reduce drag
120hp saxo isnt going to pull well over 100. every little helps and for what the bumper mod costs you cant be at a loss with it.

To be honest im sure it wouldn't be hard to design something that looks good on a saxo. The clio one maybe mainly for show but it works well enough that it doesn't need a rear spoiler. Speaking of there's no decent one's for saxo's either as far as im aware.
sexy_gt i may copy your rear bumper its growing on me and its true about 120bhp saxo's at speed. Mine pulls happily to 120 and then you can feel and hear the wind slowing the car down...

A handy little aero device that will be appearing on my 106 in the future... and maybe the saxo too.
Chopping the bumper is IMO a must do mod for track focused Saxo's/106's, if you dont its like having an air brake on under your car.
Try sticking your hand out the window at 70mph, now imagine what its like with that whole section of bumper doing that all the time!

Local bodyshop?
It'd take less than an hour to buzz the bumper.

i might catch a glimpse of your b8s and lower strut brace and shit myself though.
What has a track day got to do with anything?

Its easy to run your mouth on a forum...
And B8's and lower strut braces chavs tend not to do to their saxo's which is why they would know mines a bit more special than theirs thats the point i was trying to make. It hints at performance.

Its easy to talk shit as well, you seem to be accustom to it though.
So your going to get a motorsport decal down your door then? That can hint that youve been on track

Your sig seems kinda ironic...."Apparantly a few select people on here believe they are reincarnations of Senna. And have the technical ability of Ross Brawn. No. You drive a saxo get over yourselves."
No one mentioned anything about who is the better driver or driving at all for that matter, nor mentioned anything about technical ability. You put alot of hate out for saxo's and their owners when you drive one yourself, the hate you put out there you receive back mate, I know that for fact for you in particular. A lower strut brace is £30 lol and plenty of chavs do it, theres plenty on here lol and B8s are good dampers, but you talk about them as be all end all.
Finally, no one is running their mouth lol, if thats what you call running your mouth then jeez you'll have a surprise when someone does haha
After everything ive said you are definatly Senna:

Anyway, thread back on topic before its ruined.

Jesus you people have a lot of time on your hands...15 posts a day on average for the last few years? What the hell do you DO with your life.
I don't believe myself or my car to be the best out there. I have found through my own experience the suspension i have enables me to drive a lot better and faster than before so of course im going to big it up as it was cheap and effective.
