Default Sunroof removal ....

Will be looking to shead more weight by ditching the headlining & replacing the sunroof with a perspex sheet soon.

Does anyone know of a compny that sells a kit for sunroof replacement ?

thanks

For the effort, IMO its worth it getting a complete new skin from Pug for 130 odd quid.

As above! lol.

Some bodyshops charge ALOT.

I just think replacing it with a new skin looks so much better. Still light, if not lighter.

Yes it dose, there spot welded on, there's about 15/20 spots where screen is. We have screen removed, drill all spots out lift skin out. Weld new skin in screen back in, paint job done

someone told me plating can be a pain in the arse aswell due to the fact that to do it properly the plate has to be spot welded over time to prevent the roof warping

For that little bit more effort you get a much cleaner and higher quality finish.
