Yup, not really much power from a 2 litre engine really but better than what I had, breathing mods should free it up nicely

They couldnt have made it too close to the ST focus though. Besides the duratec has a lot of tuning potential

Have you had this yet mate, looking for some advise/insight what they like to live with, boot space, comfy, quickish ? Just stuff like that. My mates got one at work but if you listen to him evary car he's had is the best car in the world lol. I'm torn between one of these or a 106 gti. What do you think of it compared to your sax ?
Thanks.

Nice very nice Baz,
They won't set the world on fire stock but a few choice mods and they go well major upgrade over a Saxo .
As for paint fading because it's red, as long as it's washed and polished fairly regularly it will be fine. Usually red fades when it's been neglected.

Personally its miles better than the Furio, just much better made, so i'd rather have the ST over a GTi. Probs get better MPG with the GTi though lol.
Loads of boot space too, more than the Saxo, hell of alot comfier.
Anyways, onto the updates
Done a few minor things over the last 2 weeks. Will let the pics do the talking.
First job was to get rid of the rear wiper (standard):
Then fitted a boot lock cover:
Then I swapped my grey plastic bits for black ones and a rear diffuser (no pics yet) along with smoked side repeaters.
That is all for now, quick vid of the exhaust whatever it is, not too loud, 20db quieter from the inside than the Saxo lol
Comments etc welcome

Not too bad, not a massive fan but looks like a good base for small mods.
My mate at work has a red Zetec S but with the rear bumper from an ST. He has the standard wheels in black with the red badges, lowered a tiny bit, not too sure how much, mmaybe 30mm.
I think he has a manifold that he ordered by mistake, he was told the ZS would be the same fitment as the ST but it's completely different, think the name Mountune rings a bell but i could be wrong.

Cheers mate, looking at getting some eibach extra lows which lower the ST 35mm, 50mm from standard fiesta. Not really anything I want to do on the outside now. Not that I know of anyway

smoked side repeaters look a bit wank
not sure why you have dewipered the boot? Are you stripping it out? i thought you bought it for comfort items? strange.
Like most, not a fan, a thoroughbred birds car, what a bloke would buy his missis after buying a focus.
