I cancelled my xbl when i didn't have an xbox for a while, and it was the easiest thing ever.. No excuse that you couldn't do it..

Playstation online was down for a long time, xbl is never down..

Like i said, i can see playstation having some snags with the new payment system, simply because they will up their servers with the new money (i would hope) and i can't see it been a straight 10 minute deal..

Plus, you get a better quality of game play on xbox.. Playing fifa at a mates, nearly every game, you go 1-0 up and the other person leaves, COD, its kids screaming on the mic, and hiding in a corner.. Which will continue with Playstation been the cheaper console.. Parents will buy the cheaper one for their kids..

Not all hosted through dedicated servers, some used someones console, hence the 16 player cap on COD (P2P connection)

Both are switching to dedicated servers next console.

Thats what i mean though, xbox have years of practice at setting them up and keeping them secure and running...

John, you're a PS fanboy so I'll make this easy for you.

Whether you want it or not, go out and buy a 1080p video camera that does everything from voice recognition to facial and voice recognition, then see how much it costs.

I bet you its more than the £80 extra we'll pay for Xbox WITH that technology.

Nothing to read... I was re: connection prices.

Btw, its hardly much of a price difference, even though neither are 100% at present... Its because of the extra hardware, simple as that.

And why didnt you just go through your bank online and cancel the direct debit..... Simples.

Hardly, i said i would be going to playstation, if it was much better than the xbox, but aside from the £80 cheaper, its not that much better, and with the trouble i expect with the new paid servers and stuff, the fact that developers are going to just put online codes in the games, pretty much locking them to one console, the same as xbox, I'd rather pay the extra, to have a familiar, proven online system

£80 is as nearly £100, as it is £50 lol..

Like Jay said, find a HD camera, voice recognition, and voice action system, for under £80.. I won't use it to its potential, but its there.. For some people, it will be good, who want to use the likes of kinect to try and keep fit, like many did with the wii fit

I will use Kinect EVERY time I use the Xbox. Purely because I'm a lazy bastard and "Xbox.On" with turn it on for me lol

I'll wait till its been out a year or so before i buy one.

I'm not being a fan boy, i own a 360 and i do like it, as much as my PS3 but the price is a joke. HD cam or not.

The PS4 has its own motion detecting device as well, guess what though, you have to pay for it separately and i'm guessing that's going to cost in the region of ... wait for it ... £80.

So if you are putting both systems against eachother they are going to cost the same, Microsoft are just forcing Kinect on all console purchasers but then that's actually good as it ensures that all games that come out for the xbox can be enjoyed by everyone and the kinect is actually part of the console itself as opposed to the PS4 Eye which is just an add on at the end of the day.

I will be sticking with Microsoft as my current 360 has been faultless, having said that I wont be buying an Xbox One until my 360 dies.

How can you say its a joke, when you look back at comparison prices on the PS3 and 360? You could buy the top spec xbox, cheaper than the lowest spec ps3..
