Ive never had one fault with xbox live, I only use those online code places for the yearly subscriptions. £26 i think I paid last time which for a year is nothing, I lose more than that down the back of the sofa

Good. No point paying extra for hardware you wouldn't need. I don't see why non kinect games still require the kinect plugged in at all times. Imagine you breaking it even though you don't use it, and having to buy one again or you you can't play at all.

I was considering an Xbox if it was going to be similar to the 360.
Not sure, especially with current debates going on it just seems like a US spy tool with a feature for playing games.

Oh come on, really? Do you honestly think they give a shit what some 13 year old kid is doing in his bedroom? It's just a device that has to stay switched on if you're to use the voice recognition feature. You can turn it off if you want to do it the old fashioned way.
Christ the tin foil hat brigade are doing well with this one.

Ironically most are happy with the fact they have a webcam on the top of their laptop with absolutely no indication as to whether it is on or not.

My mate said the new call of duty game is coming out on both the 360 and the one, is this true? if so that pretty much negates the need for me to buy one until its 1+ year old

I could imagine people getting a game which can be made better with kinect, then complaining, saying "they should sell something like that with the xbox if they sell games to use it"

Why? Not everyone can afford a new console the day it comes out.. So why would developers lose money, when they could still be selling the games on the old consoles too?

What im getting at y0 is i thought it would of been a PS4 launch which it isnt and then release it on the PS3 at a later date.
