That bhp increase is absolutely amazing. Very impressive media unit as well.

The head unit is standard rnse as fitted to a lot of audi's. I just needed to plumb in the composite interface and video in motion mod.

Bet it feels like a different car after the de-coking, pretty impressive the gains or losses, however you want to look at it

Was there not something in here about the car not being far off some modded stuff 30-130 pre the decoke, and a GPS gizmo Ross?

Didn't you say earlier that on a 30-130mph run that it wasn't far off other modded rs4s? That would be explained by the map, is what Muz is getting at, I think.

No. But I have a screenshot from a run today on GPS video. Shows 178mph (indicated 185mph speedo) when I backed off like a faggot lol.

Broke the fucking windscreen yesterday like a bender. My own fault. Repair Tuesday as (speaking of benders) national windscreens can't come to repair it until Tuesday.

In other news I had a full service and another CV boot changed on Friday. Car pulls so much better now - must be dem new spark plugs!

Also got my brand-new disks and pads fitted - stops as well as it goes.

Stupidity. Rather not go into it. Let's just say I was trying to fit a cable in the a pillar trim...

I think with being a mod you have a duty to tell what happened so that we don't make the same mistake

I was prising the a pillar trim away from the screen using a 6" prybar. Put a bit too much pressure on the prybar (whichwas prising against the glass) and the glass just shattered. I knew better but was being very gentle so was trying to be careful.

I just fucked up

To put a positive spin on it, the car had 100,000+ miles of stone chips on the windscreen and was typically scratched etc just over time. So getting a new screen is a blessing in disguise. Albeit a £75 lesson
