thats cool mite try it ours there only5 spoke was gona get them refurbd and powder coated white but the chore affect mite look good with posi blue

Do u thick this technique would sort the corrosion on my tsw rocket 5s.
They have a polished face and black back ground

probablies would do mate, just about any metal will polish up if it has a smooth surface

soap water sponge? would polishing it without sanding it or anything be a waste of time

there is a guide that riggsy did lists all the things you need
but ill do one
nitromors, id get a big tub of it so about 20 quid for that
wire brush set for drill - about 5 quid
loads of sandpaper say about 500 right up to a 2000 grit about 10 - 15 quid
non ferrous polishing kit and an extra mop for each wheel, get some mini ones too for awkward areas id say about 20 - 40 quid for that
autosol metal polish get a good amount about 10 pound

chers pred will rep you if it lets me so baisicly im looking at around another 90-100 pound on top of the 200 ive just payd for my rims fook me.sorry to be a pain but i take it i can get all this at my local halfrauds.

can get it all apart from nitromors, (i think) get that from b&q or a diy shop and also the plishing kit you will need to buy online

yeah then just buy a mop for each wheels so you will need another 3 dry sissal mops, 3 stitched mops and 3 loose mops
also its worth getting the mini mops there perfect for the awkward areas

good good nice to see someone wanting to do it
key to a good polished surface is the sanding, you will get bored of it but when you do have a break or come back later as thats when you start rushing it

yeah wanted to do something different but everything seems to have been done but not seen alot of polished wheels so thought id do that may add my own twist with a coloured lip or something thought about a yellow one as i have yellow callipers and theres yellow bits on my harneses. i will be posting pictures of the progress on my progress thread
