it would be a good idea but it could also have its draw backs but it can be rather irritating when someone starts saying its not worth that amount seems the price of a car is mainly down to personel oppinion

I think it is a good idea and will keep the for sale section clean and free from spamming, also provides a tickbox disclaimer for the club which is good.
Maybe a link do a cheap but reliable HPi checker website at the bottom of each post too?

mods always complain that no one is using the report button and it should be used more often
but whenever i use it nothing happens
it will also be easier for them to stop people from posting instead of going round clearing posts

something else that may be useful in selling sections is "must have photos"
ie: when you create a new thread, you must have a thread topic (title)
could have a little section, like the title section, which is for images, no pics posted and an error comes up saying "sorry this section isnt filled" blah blah
you get the idea?
wouldnt be hard to impliment

I think its a good idea, but what annoys me is threads saying "gauging interest" and then when you comment, you get in trouble for it. If your gauging interest, then put it in the whats it worth section. A car in the for sale section is for sale! end of

Just came accross this, and i think its a really good idea aswell
. Would be easier to see key things when buying, and people wouldnt forget to add things

It is a good idea...
But to add to it, would it be possible to give permission to whoever is selling the car to be able to delete comments that have been made. As fair enough there is alot of SPAM on the threads but there are also some very good questions asked that would be good if posted on there rather than being spammed by PM with all the same questions?

I think he meant that the creator can select which posts to be allowed
So the worthwhile questions get accepted, spam he/she rejects
