Is he a registered business?

They cannot accept every application for affiliate status as would open the floodgates to all and sundry

First of all.....Please remember i do not deal with affiliates that is upto Simo and Mark51....anything to do with affiliates is out of my control.

Secondly............they certainly would not be able to trade using another well known companies name as it may mislead members.

And finally.....yes Simo and Mark51 do pick and choose who they want as affiliates.......i guess seeing as Simo owns Saxperience he is allowed to do that. We get soo many requests....if we accepted all of them we would now have hundreds lol

I will point Simo and Mark51 in the direction of this thread and they will discuss it with you further if neccessary.

Thanks

I deal with the majority of the potential affiliates and get ALOT of people and businesses wanting to trade on the forum. However, not all of them are successful. As mentioned above if i was to let everyone trade on the forum that wanted to then there would be hundreds of traders which would not benefit the site or the members.
Im not going into details of individual businesses applications but there is alot more to it than you think. Its not just a simple case of if someone want to become an affiliate then they can.
As for businesses trading in the for sale section then this is not allowed, this is for a few reasons but one been that other businesses that are affiliated with the site have to pay for the right to do so, so allowing others to do this free of charge wouldn't be fair. You will also find that the advertisement rates on this site are alot less than other means of advertising.
