New For Sale Rule
Just an idea, no need for abuse...
This works very well on DW, every item you wish to sell you must put your username on a piece of paper next to the item to prove it's a legitimate sale
E.g:
*Cheers to Ross_1888 for the example

Quite a good idea that is Paul. There have been a few cases lately where people have been advertising things for sale which they dont even have.

i often try to do this if people need when selling camera gear.
usually ill put some ID next to it aswell.
people should be asking for it on here to protect themselves

it doesnt stop you from scamming really imo
useful though, as sometimes ive seen people use pics of other peoples. personally I just say collect only these days (not just because im no where near my car parts) but then nobody could ever say i was a scammer (i know im not, but theres a lot of accusations that are flying around)
