i was just wondering. can you get the factory ECU re-mapped or do you have to have a dastek,superchip or similar?.. also would it be possible to put a vts ecu on a lower spec saxo if so would it be beneficail?

you can get the standard ecu remapped yes, so dont have to get a dastek etc.

you wouldnt see any benefit at all from putting a vts ecu on a lower spec model.

a remap of the standard ecu is around 300-400 quid, so i'd advise going for a dastek as it'll be cheaper when it comes to having it remapped after every mod.

how much is a dastek? and where would i have to take the car to get it re-mapped?

dasteks are roughly £400-500 fitted.

check out dasteks web site as they have places all over.
