Shot Of The Month Section!

Someone else said this and I'd like to echo it.

Can we get a subsection for shot of the month? The section should be moderated by Miller as its him that puts the effort into doing it every month.

It means there can be one thread for entries, one for chat and one for the poll.

Cleans up the threads and gives Miller greater control over his competition!

sounds fair, he should have the right to moderate the section! so he can remove the posts which are on the wrong month, wrong scene ect ect.

If mods need any proof of how well theme'd shot of the month has been working, just have a butch through my past threads, its been running for a fair amount of months now.

Would run alot smoother in a seperate section tbh, then somebody could sticky the rules at the top of the page, and i wouldn't have to keep writing them out in a new thread every month!

Agreed, but it would be nice if i had some power to just delete their post rather than have an argument with them.

Also to people saying 'have a seperate chat thread'. Theres no point, that wouldn't work, people want to talk about the photos after they've been posted etc, i personally wouldn't bother with a seperate thread for chatting.

It doesn't bother me when people have a chat in the thread, and its me who has to traipse through it to find the photos at the end of the month lol.

This is my main issue tbh, i've pm'd a few mods and got a reply saying that it isn't possible to make the polls any bigger

ah thats abit shit but atleast if it has its own section then the threads will stay at the top instead of 1 or 2 of them being bumped a few pages back

Also not a bad idea mate, so sticky the new entry thread every month and the poll thread at the start of the month. That could work.

I think a sub-section would be more shall i say 'entertaining' for the user though, as everything is in one place so they can look through all submitted photos from every month. Is probably more hard work for someone to sort out though.
