starter motor
help please!
my car will not start any more (vtr), when i turn the key theres just a click noise.
im sure its the starter motor?
if so, is there a guide on here on how to take it off and replace it?
or is there some one can tell me how to do it? thanks

Check the battery and the starter motor wires, If it has gone then,
Just remove the wires, (Disconnect battery first), Remove the bolts holding it in, Change for a different one

Try a mates battery first, my battery seemed ok, but would only click when trying to start. Soon as I changed the battery, it started fine.

dont think its battery coz lights and everything comes on. xsi16v ho wmuch for starter motor? and how easy they to take off and put on/

15 posted mate. Fairly easy to swap. 3 bolts and 2 wires. I can talk you thro it if u get stuck.

just bought a starter motor off a 106 which ive been told will fit, i will see if i can swop them my self tomorrow evening, if not will post for help, thanks guys
