Default thudding under car

hi, just wondering if any one can help me with a problem with my vtr mk1. When i drive, i can feel something hitting under neath the car, especially when driving on rougher roads. im 100percent its not the exhaust pipe. Can any one help please

what type of noise and where about's under you? sounds like suspension to me if its louder on rough roads

well my gf feels it on passengers side and i feel it also, not so sure about behind us, its on the floor we feel it, and it sounds like something hitting underneath

I'd check the exhaust mount that's at the engine side of the car. If that's loose it would cause a knocking. You said you checked the exhaust itself but its worth checking the mounts to mate

not started.... put it in 2nd and wigggle stick left and right. feel a tap???
loose selector rods..

bottom arm REAR bushes are bolted from under the carpets in the footwells, sound like ball joints knocking, see my other posts.
had same probs, took a while to sort it
