Suggestion: Across the forum. - Saxperience

Hi Sax-P

I was just having a think again (I know, I was shocked to!

) and I had a thought the other day when I was at work.

Basically when I was at work I was going on to check if my threads had been replied to or anything.

Is there a possible way where we could get a 'Notification' when we have a 'Unread' reply on our threads?

Prob be a MASSIVE job, i'm unsure how it all works, just thought it might be pretty cool.

(NOTE: I don't mean to have a notification via e-mail or anything, just on Sax-P as you won't lose any 'activeness' as such on the forum'

Views?

Yeah I seen it on an old superbike forum i used to be on before it went down and was on there IIRC.

Was just helpful rather than having to try look through loads of threads lol.

This would be useful but only if it had a choice to turn it off, as I presume people that post threads which get a lot of responses would quickly get fed up with it.

You've got an option to subscribe to threads. Then when you go in to your user cp it tells you what threads have unread messages on them.

Didn't realise that for one, and still it's not like I mean as in it just comes up without having to go into the user CP.

But nevermind, was a suggestion none the less.

Every time I log on to saxp, I allways go on search, type your own user name into the right hand side search, and click search now. Comes up with all the threads with unread responses. Maybe long but that's the way I've allways done it lol.
