Question Sound Recording...?

Just wondering if anybody has any experience in this?

I play the guitar and sing (amateur), and am looking to record myself, nothing too professional, just good quality sound.
However i would need to record at least 4 tracks (guitar, vocals, beat, keys), so the standard sound software like Sound Forget etc is no good..

Can anyone reccommend any good sound recording equipment for me?

Thank in advance

recording equipment.

your on about real hardware here dude I have my own recording studio.got the lot compressors,eq's,FX proccesors, synths, condesor mic, mixer monitors etc etc etc.15k's worth

if your just starting out take a look at behringer stuff.

look at compressors
you'll need one for your vocals and guitar.
look at there USB mixers aswell that way you can plug in your guitar, mic and so on..........and record directly in real time to your software. for masterin get ableton or logic.

if you got hte money to spend get KRK monitors and for the mixer look at Mackie

compressor

Virtualizer (good for FX on vocals)

mic

mixer (dont need anything HUGE tbh)

USB audio interface (connect that to mixers output then to pc)

you may need a feedback destroyer and a eq bar with about 16-32 channels and plenty of cables lmao.

for safty reasons please remember when you have stuff like this all powerd up at once it sucks alot of power plus gets hot in my studio i have a direct cut off fuse box so if say a lightning strike happens the box blows and my gear dont.
