Cheers for the replies. I always said they were marmite so I expected the mixed reaction.

Now the bad news. First of all I can barely turn the wheels due to the arches so it's being raised temporarily. Already booked in for stretched tyres on the 10th to try and cure the problem.

Next issue, the car fell off the jack while my foot was under it. Subframe landed on my foot crushing it Loads of pain and lesson learnt - I need some axle stands!

Refurb and paint will be a while yet

Right, proper post now.

Fetched these earlier on. Need a good refurb which I'd planned earlier. Stuck them on, lowered the jack and it literally sat on the tyres. Couldn't move.

I then raised tthe car about 20mm meaning it will move but with very little lock. Drove it around trying to find a body shop that'd roll the arches. Turns out they want £200 to do two arches without paint or anything.

Stopped off at a tyre center that had a really good look and decided that the best route was to stretch tyres with a lower profile and that MAY solve the issue. Booked in for the 10th for those.

Unfortunately I was a complete idiot and did it all without axle stands. Got what I deserved when the car slipped off the jack with the subframe landing on my foot. Luckily a passing van stopped and jacked the car up again. Ripped trainers and alot of pain but I think i'm ok lol

Not going for the ghetto approach of sticking a baseball bat between the wheel and arch?

Much damage to your foot? Pics of that are needed as well lol

I thought about the ghetto approach but don't want to fuck the paint.

Those are serious ballon tyres.

Don't got for anything too small, as will look silly!

Arches are easy to do. Hammer & heatgun. Did mine & my mates like it! Infact his is the same colour as this!

Yeah understandable as the paint looks pretty decent, and aww bless you. Didn't help me make up my mind though, maybe with some nice sized rubber on it'll make me like it.

Just an idea at the minute...

Obviously with finishing touches such as chrome trims, pressed plates etc...

Looking at it yesterday, I thought the same. The rears look like they sit further in the arches than the front. Camber shims are planned anyway which should push them out slightly.

If you add negative camber on the rear itll make it worse.. you either want less camber or spacers to push the wheel out closer to the arch.
