Default new laptop, no internet
basically. every time i try to install gAyOL onto my comp (yes i know its a crap internet provider) i plug the modem in for it to finish off the installation process. and then it says "drivers not intsalled properly" and cancel's everything

so.. how do i install it? it doesnt say why it wont install?

i therefore cant connect my router up if theres no internet effective can i?

Has it come with any system CDs?

There may be a CD with the drivers on that you need.

Are you broadband? if so are you running a router or an adsl modem?

What operating system you using and what operating system are the drivers created for?

yep, its all on the same disc (thats what it says during the instalation process anyway)

just got off the phone to gAyOL and theyre shipping out a new boradband package which is suitable for vista.
