Default Wishbone ball joints

Hi all

Okay so I've been doing some repairs on my peugeot 106 for mot fail and the wheel bearings was one of them so I've had to pop the bottom ball joint out of hub etc. After trying everything watching videos searching and ages trying I can't get the ball joint back in the hub I did replace these around 8 months ago and remember it being a right pain to get in but not this bad I've opened it up in the slot at the back as much as I can but still no luck. Is there any other tips anyone has to get this back in?

Thanks
Ryan

do not open the clamp up, that can damage them, its a straight bore so if the pin is clean and the clamp has not previously been over tightened it should go in fine.

I can't say about before but imy pretty sure I didn't over tighten them last time I took the torque spec from the eyes manual for all of the bits I put back on I've cleaned the bore and the pin and also tried with a bit of grease to see if that would help. I remember having a issue getting all 3 aligned last time could it be worth undoing it completely including the footwell bolts and putting the ball joint in first?
