Default For Sale section

Just an idea that ive seen on my local site which seems to work pretty well.

Make threads non repliable, in other words theres only one post in the thread made by the seller which he/she may edit when they wish, any interest can be made via pm.

Suppose it would save the spam seen in many threads.

i dont see the point in people contacting info via PMs with reference to the item for sale.

asking the questions in the thread will keep the info open to anyone interested.

if it is all put into the thread, then it wouldnt get filled up with people putting 'pm me price' or 'you have a pm'

the posting rules do state that the seller should state a rough price, which not many do. so that doesnt help matters.
