Steering wheel came today

Must say it makes driving so much easier, and I think it looks the nuts

and the wife begged me to get this, new air freshener for some reason

So today the 4-2-1 manifold went on... Why didnt I do that sooner, the noise is immence and the acceleration is so much better. and the pops it does... Deffo glad I did that, although the garage called my car the Asbo..

yes I know my rocker cover is in need of attention, I have a brand new painted one on order, but will bet getting it fitted the same time I get my tappets adjusted,

I came home and found four of these bad boys waiting for me

also got new car mats, new gear gaitor, and a VTS air bagged interior to go in at some point,

some random pics I took last night while I was waiting to collect my new interior

wheels are now on

today these arrived (Thanks Kev from Kamracing)

and heres a small video of the car since the manifold has been fitted

I am now looking for a supersprint or pipercross with a silencer as I feel its a bit too loud

looking for a full new exhaust system, from manifold back,

torn between a pipercross and a supersprint

I want noise but also would like to be able to drive and not have non stop drone, wouldnt mind some pops aswell... my video is in the above post anyone reccomend which one will quiten it down a bit ?

Cheers mate, aye comes in handy does dalton park,

Decided on the Piper exhaust, car is pretty quite now, but still feels the benefit of the 4-2-1 Manifold..

Also put the VTS airbagged interior in, new mats and seatbelt pads

pretty sure its toyosports or something, its on ebay, about £140 but I offered £130 and it got accepted

had a few jobs done on the car now,

tappets finally done,
a full service
my new (temporary) rocker cover

I know the engine bay needs tidying up, I will get round to it eventually

Today I ordered a powerflex bush kit and a new K & N airfilter hopefully get the front end to be a bit more responsive

its getting lowered the weekend after next.. (no more 4 x 4)

Well finally got my Apex 50mm kit on yesterday, Also had new strut mount and bearings put on and new track rod ends, car handles like a dream now,

only thing I dont like is it scrapes quite badly over speedbumps, I thought a 50mm drop wouldnt really get scrapes as I have seen many saxos go much lower,

Morettes have been purchased and im now waiting on delivery, that shall be my mod for next week, getting them sprayed up and hopefully a cold air feed coming from them too..

car looks tidy now

have you got spacers on the rear? if not do you know the ET fitment?

looks like they're sitting out a bit more then usual so that is probably why its scraping

The scraping is coming from underneath, not the actual wheels

When I ordered the wheels they didnt have any saxo fitment in, so there are spacers on the front and rear, but was told the spacers would make them exactly like saxo fitment wheels

I would go outside and see what was scraping but the snow wont stop

Top gear called the Focus ST the Asbo, it's even on their power board as the Asbo.

yeah I see that. they meant that mine would literally get an asbo though, one guy that worked there was telling me about his car that had some police notice on it ( cant remember what it was) because his car was to loud, he said mine was much louder.. I couldnt take the risk of getting that so changed my exhaust for quieter one..

new front brakes are on. GTI 6 brakes with ferrodo pads, with braided brake lines, Finally the car feels like it will stop when I want it too,

got sick of all the amp wires getting caught up in shopping bags and stuff, so I made a false floor to hide all the wires and the amplifier

not the best job, but will do for now, once I get some adhesive I will recover the floor properly

Morettes are still being sprayed at the moment, but should be on with in a week or 2 if the weather keeps up..
