Default MOT Emissions Failure

Amongst other things iv got high CO and high lambda at natural and fast idle

thinking lambda sensor's bust whats everyone else think?

^^^ jack car up and give the cat a knock with your hand if you hear rattle then its fucked. unscrew lambda sensor see if ceramic is broke/missing/cracked. 17mm spanner on manifold.

All else do what i did and tell them to run it thru hot just race hell outa it and tell them to test soon as get there it past mine and mine was well over on all too.

although the MOT centre i use, brilliant good mates with the owner but neverless... dont have the equipment to test emissions but fully licensed to give out MOTs. dont know how that works, but if your ever in the SW / plymouth area hes the guy you want.

also will pass you for anything aslong as you dont have cut springs jsut got to buy him a box of jellie babies and cup cakes!
