It was recommended to me some time ago when I was wondering the same thing. My brother also bought some corsair recently, delivered on time and working as expected... Third parties are much, much cheaper than buying from apple, just make sure you get the right stuff, click on apple and "about this mac" to find your ram type.

Just ordered 2 sticks or Corsair myself. However I do use Ebay because I know exactly what I'm after.
Crucial is expensive in my opinion. Check if your mobo supports dual, triple or quad channel memory to specify how many you should install for best performance.
Dont buy into the expensive models with massive heat sinks either, they do as near to " fuck all " as possible and just help sell the modules.

Runs faster than anything I have ever used haha

Huge improvements in my set up for about £50... But then im chomping my way through loads of photos quickly.
A better ram does give a large improvement for a small outlay.
