You can usually change the ports it connects through. Astraweb uses SSL so make sure it's using port 443.

how come so many videos etc are split into seperate rar files rather then just one?

That's how it works, you don't download a single file. You need to find the NZB file for what you want. Your newsreader will then download all the needed files to make the complete article.

Get an NZB from here for example - http://nzbmatrix.com/index.php then double click it and your newsreader program will do all the work for you.

Newsleecher (the best news reader) will also automatically compile and place the finished file into a folder of your selection.

If your news reader does not have this feature, simply double click one of the .rar files once you've downloaded them all and you will be left with a completed file in a rar archive that you simply drag and drop to anywhere on your PC.

when i am downloading big batches of large files sometimes grabit will just stop downloading and i will have to restart it, why could this be?

Application error? Cap on large file sizes on your internet? Does it only happen on one article or every large article you try and download?

Could be a number of things!

It happens to batches of files being downloaded using the nzb file thing!

I just restart grabit and it continues the downloads so no big deal really!
