Crap little update, but we found out where the oil leak was coming from, oil was coming out of the oil filter housing, so replaced the filter and rubber seal, when we put the old seal against the new seal, the old seal was much bigger so its been stretched and obviously wasn't doing a great job of sealing the oil, so thats one job down!
just need persuade mummy to lend me some money to get the head gasket done!

How much of a joy is it to be able to change the oil filter without getting under the car? makes life that bit easier

as gtuff has kindly put some pics up, were slowly removing the head to see weather just a headgasket kit will fix it or does it need a new engine but im not worrying we wont know until the head comes off to check the condition of the bores
