Hoping to sort my 'ping' noise today!
Gonna try the 'wind bolt in, pull axle closer, wind bolt out, threadlock arb plate in'
Hopefully solve the issue!!!

Well got to sorting this issue
Undid passenger wheel, 13mm spanner on the arb plate bolt, was rock solid tight - obviously wasn't the issue
Undid drivers wheel, same again, however the bolt was loose, so I undid it fully, put some thread lock on and tightened it
Hope that solves the issue

Doesn't seem to have sorted it :/
Unless I didn't de-grease the thread properly :/
Gonna have to give it another go, definitely the drivers side that comes loose :@

Still awaiting fast road brake kit from Kam racing, but delay expected with their move and the fact they had to order in my braided lines

Order has arrived
Hopefully fitting this weekend apart from the brake lines, not confident on fitting those!
Ordered some metal pressed plates from dubmeister too!
All coming together now

Also, on a 'rear axle' note, absolutely packed the arb plate bolt with thread lock, and it seems to have done the trick!
Not a murmur from my axle

Don't worry! That's in my plans
I'd rather have a professional/someone that knew what they were doing to do it though!
And local
Any takers?

Right
Today Ive just had a bash at this rear beam again!
The drivers side 13mm bolt was loose again, the noise had returned...
So I took it off, put a spring washer on, and got some more thread lock on
Presume my first amount was insufficient :/
Here is hoping that this sorts it!

My Saxo is a mutant bug killer....
Zoomed in....
SPLAT!
Also, posted a thread about it....
But is this a problem?
The boot at the top looks split to me, how bad is this?

Plates - well worth the wait!
Parts wanted:
RED OMP upper strut brace
Piper full system Manifold to backbox
Interior - doorcards with buckets and 106 rear bench
Possible small remap just to get good fueling
Possibly a procomp - just coz it's so cool!
Any of you guys want to shout suggestions....give me a go!
