Thanks!
Probably gonna go whole hog and buy a full new system - mani to backbox from piper
Can get the whole lot for less than 600 which ain't bad for brand new
So it's thanks but no thanks for the system you're selling
Hope you find the supersprint stuff! May I ask why you're changing?
Also mirrors were brand new from an eBay dealer cost about 25/30
Not too fussed they don't have mirror caps, considering doing them in gloss black when I get the bumpstrips done!

Thanks!
Good to see a forum regular spotting my work!
Also, yeah the spring washer+lock thread has done the trick
The only thing, over extreme bumps, I will still get that ping, however it's very quiet and very rare that I do hear it
So the spring washers technique works about 99%, dependant on road condition!

Jealous...sounds about right had enough people offering to buy them straight off the car! I've kept them in good nick too!
Yeah, it took some doing but some Halfords spring washers, then the original washer with a smothering of threadlock seems to have done the trick!
Use to rattle on movement, now only in super extreme rare situations!
Problem solved!
So much less embarrassing!
And thanks, will attempt to keep the updates coming!

Update time!
Speakers changed
Yes I know they're not amped components
But I paid less than £50 for 4 speakers, brand new, can't go wrong!
These are what I got:
And a pic of the front passenger one fitted:
Got both fronts fitted in less than 30 mins
Back ones getting done tomorrow as well as a good clean hopefully then it's back to uni next week so expect slow slow slow updates!
