'97 Saxo 1.5 won't stop when pulling the key out

Greetings, yesterday I came to a problem, which is the car not shutting off when pulling the key out. At the very bottom position of the key, where the car is supposed to be off, the battery lamp on my dash barely works. It doesn't happen all the time, I think it doesn't happen when the car's been working for a little longer but that's just a speculation of mine.

Forgot to mention, the car starts up with a code. I don't know if that's a subject of matter, though.
