Default Heater not blowing and power steering not working

first of all the heater blower stopped working, i believe heaters still working because you can feel a breeze of warm air at fast speed, and then the power steering. well i've had a browse around and i have taken the case under the steering wheel off and connected the two cables that i seen in another thread which temporarily fixxed the problem but its now not working again, i have checked the pump and there is still alot of fluid in there. This has left me thinking that the only thing to fix the problem is the replace the power steering pump? or is there anything else i should check first? and how hard is this to do and will i need more fluid or any special tools to do it?

then secondly from i have read i am lead to believe its the fan not working, and im wondering where this is situated and what i have to take off to get it!

finally my rear heater matrix 'is!' working as seen that crop up alot. another thing i thought id mention would be that i have change the centre console bit'where the cd player and heater controls etc go' and wonder wether that controller could be the reason that the blower isnt working?

thanks very much in advance and for reading.
please help!
matt

If it aint fuses, or the common problem, try giving your pas a smack with a hammer, might cure it temporarily, but will go again. if that works its your pump and will need replacing

still having problems then bud!

still mine could be worse by the looks of things! I think you need to test all the cables that go to and from the stuff that isnt working first and put the changed cables back to normal whilst you test them, while your at it test all the fuses, literally all of them just incase!

My power steering went, fot it was the pump then the relay only to find out it was my earth cable so something that looked expensive to fix was only £5 still working like a charm after 2 months.

have you checked your water? my heater stoped working while back turned out that the rad had gone so the heaters were getting starved of water,

head gasket can cause heaters to stop working to if the waters low,
