Default Will these tyres fit OK

Folks,

using my VTS for a bit of light track work. Planning to get some better tyres on a set of VTS rims for this use and a friend has some nice yokos in 185 55 15 size. Now I have run 185 60 14 on VTR wheels with no problem and I believe people routinely run 195 50 15 on VTS wheels (better prices / availability) but wondered if the 185 55 15 tyres would be too tall ?

Anyone any experience of this size?

Cheers
Craig

Default

Only 5 min difference in sidewall of the tyre with the 195 50 r 15 being 97mm and the 185 55 r15 being 102mm.

Plenty of aspect ratio calculators on the web have a play and a measure
