Default I’m getting my first saxo need some help

Hi guys I’m going to buy this 1.1 Desire next week as I turn 17 in March and want a saxo to me my first car As an end goal I would love it to look like this beauty I know generally what I would need (VTR body kit, alloys etc) but I need your help on which kit I would need and if the alloys are a straight fit from a VTR any help would be appreciated as I’m new to modifying cars. Also what other mods could I make to the car, are bucket seats a good idea? Any tips are appreciated.

There is only one non chavvy kit, and that's the citroen one. I wouldn't even bother, because that's raising the insurance price for the sake of cosmetics especially on a first car. Call the insurance and make sure you sit down first before asking them how much.

No, unless you fancy a sore ass and back every time you climb out of it.

All of this combined with the shitty lexus lights above, you'll end up being the red light launch 1.1 motor superstar I'm afraid. Build your no claims bonus for a couple of years, then buy a VTR instead.

Keep it standard for your first year.

don't touch a thing, reliability is such a relief.

Get and insure a tractor while you're 16, which usually costs about £50, and gain some no claims bonus before you need it.

If you get the 'right' tractor, when someone asks you in the future what your first car was you could say "My first motor was a Lamborghini"

:-D
