Default Would like to identify the radio/cd fitted and get a manual.

Hi everyone

I just registered as I have recently purchased a Saxo 1.1L Forte from an elderly lady.

Its a W Reg 2000 so 15 years old and only 31,000 on clock so I have a bargain as it is in excellent condition. I will get it fully serviced next week.

I think it originally had a factory fitted Radio/Cassette player as the manual is for such an item but at some point a pretty basic Radio/CD Player has been fitted.

Thats absolutely fine for me and I have the 4 digit radio code so it's radio is working (not tried a CD yet), BUT I would like to get hold of an instruction manual for it. Unfortunately it does not show a manufacturers make or model. Just shows RDS-EON and I know what that means, and its not the make/model !!

Have tried taking a photo and used it to search on Google Images but no luck. Not sure if I can add a photo here on the Forums but don't think so.

Its no big deal if I can't obtain a manual but if anyone has any ideas......!!!

Thanks

Upload a picture of it to photobucket, then post it on here. Or remove the stereo and it should have some sort of make/model on the back.

To be honest though if it's a cheapy no make stereo, you'd be better off buying a new one. Halfords often have JVC and Pioneer units for around £50 which is dead cheap.
