Default 4 stud to 3 stud possible?

Hello, im thinking about getting a citroen saxo 1.5 diesel or a citroen saxo 1.1i desire, both mk1's. but the 1.1i already has 3 studs ready for me but the 1.5 diesel has 4 and it's the better choice, i found for only 350 quid. Is it possible to change from 4 studs to 3, I prefer 3 studs just for the look and its better for me, I'm not a fan of 4 studs anyways, I'm a mechanic (apprentice) as well so I can do the work on my own with little help, the front shocks I found cheap, I can handle it and it'll be a quick fix and fit but the rear axle I'm more concerned because it might be all wrong and I have to go back and forth and all of that so I just want to know and be sure, thanks

No, don't do it.

The diesel is 4 stud for a reason - because the 3 stud setup isn't up to the job.

3 stud isn't cool, fun or "scene".

Not to mention the brakes are worse than the CDs the 1.5d come with standard. There's no upgrade (well there is with custom things but that's expensive and not worth it) for 3 stud models and the pedal feel is horrible.

Don't buy the 1.1 because it's 3 stud either, if the 1.5d is better buy that. It's a better engine anyway, as much power, more reliable and better on the juice.

Recently discovered my 1.5d was 4 stud so it's now 2.5 stud on the back.
