Default URGENT Gearbox snapped

My 106GTi gearbox on my Saxo ph1 8VTR snapped at the mount under the battery, how is this possible?

also now my box is broken i can engange the clutch in reverse and second but in first i it does not grab to a certain point and than suddenly grabs and almost stalls.

Questions i have
- How can my box snap at the mount under the battery? (maybe because lower powerflex mount?)
- Why does my clutch grab instantly in first?

Box will be replaced btw, just curious if my clutch needs a replace to since its just 5 months old and 5000km

Probably tons of launches; a too-stiff lower mount offsetting the load elsewhere; or loose nuts on the mount causing it to load up and shear the studs.

I dont really launch hard, ofcourse i do but never with wheelspin, always controlled launch and than fullthrotle.

Lose nuts cant remember must be tight for sure. I have a lower powerflex. can this be the cause?
