Data Cd's?
Hey, the mp3 cds only hold like 80mins, but i am aware that data cds hold much much more.
My question:
Do data cds play mp3 / hold mp3 tracks so i can transfer music onto them and then play it on an mp3 car head unit or cd player at home?
Thanks in advance

That's pretty much it mate. Imagine the CD is an ipod. It holds the mp3's and your cd player plays the songs off it.

its not physically a different disc, its just different in the way you burn it.

RW are more expensive,
RW are slower to burn.
for creating data discs find a d/l of something such as Nero Burning ROM.

I think you're writing the MP3's to CD in the wrong way if you only get 80 mins worth of music. You're writing them as Music files, so they can be played in any CD player - as opposed to writing them as Data files which can be played in any player capable of reading MP3s.
For a normal 80min CD (700Mb) you should manage around 7 hours worth of tracks (depending on quality) in MP3.

RW are expensive? i dont think they are tbh!
try:
www.ukdvdr.co.uk
www.svp.co.uk
The cd's hold the same amount of data and audio, but when recording an audio disc its recorded in a different format therefore limiting you to the amount of songs on a cd, data for mp3 FTW!!
