Youve contradicted yourself 4 different times..i said i would close it if you agree to refund me fully, you didnt agree, so i didnt close it? Now your saying its my fault for not closing it?

Please dont close Paypal cases prior to getting refunded because iirc you cannot resume the claim/start a new claim for teh same transaction if you cancel.

I agree on both your parts, didnt honestly want it to take this long.Ok yes i admit i have been a bit of a dick but i do still wish to come on this forum so dont want to completely ruin it for myself.

If i could take your negative feedbacks back i would as it was a bit uncalled for on my behalf.

If you are waiting for a refund DO NOT close the case as you will not be able to reopen it or any other case for that transaction. if you have requested a refund the the seller can issue a refund while the case is open and once he has refunded paypal closes the case automatically. the expected closure date if no response from seller will be noted on the case somewhere.
As for packaging on he bonnet sent, its totally in sufficient that bonnet was always going to get damaged like that. I have been trading for 4 years and will NOT send bonnets its too risky they are too big a target for damage

The case is not OPEN, it says 'being reviewed by paypal' which means i cant refund because rich112 turned down my offer and i turned down delboys offer. It does say it will be open until 22nd march

Im not trying to pull the wool over anyones eyes :/

Andy is right, I have a dispute open atm, and paypal advised me not to close the account unless i resolved the problem completely because once closed it cannot be re-opened.. so i wouldnt risk it Del

If you cancel your claim, your basically saying you have agreed a settlement with the other party that you are happy with. You cant change your mind later and start over with a new claim.
think its around 28 days for the claim to run its course.

The only way of sending large panels like bonnets and wings is in wooden crates. I sent a front wing like this. Large sheet of MDF, some 2x4 and a bag of nails for £15 from B&Q, buyer agreed to cover that as 'postage costs' and said wing arrived undamaged. Cash on collection is far easier for such large fragile items though

The whole way through this I've been reading "If I cancel the claim will you refund me"

I was almost screaming NOOOOOO at the monitor...until I got to this page and Andy_K said not to close it. Phew!

So...has anyone got a refund or what they asked for?
