Yeah so my understanding of it is this, solid lifters are needed for high revving engines. turbocharged engines in general don't like being revved as the turbo starts becoming a restriction. you wouldn't choose a turbo to operate in the high rev range anyway as the lag will make it absolutely dog shit to drive at low rpms.
So the head being totally standard should be fine.
Depends what you mean by big power.
I would suspect that 300hp upwards will need some work done to the ports along with new valves etc.
