I'm no pro on these things but it seems ok for the cash. The only thing is I found my fixie quite hard to get used to and even more difficult on when knackered after a long ride but if you've risen them before you should be ok.

I doubt it is a great bike. Probably heavy and low quality parts.
It has one brake too many
On a budget get something like a charge plug from last season.
Or something like this
http://www.tokyofixedgear.com/produc...t-100---Black/
http://www.charliethebikemonger.com/...ike-1002-p.asp
I built my own which cost a lot more than it could have as I bought high quality parts but even with a trick steel frame it only weighs 9kg.
Mine cost roughly £600
I bought parts like kevlar lined tyres which are not the cheapest so I can hack up the country lanes around here.

the benefit is you never have to worry about what gear you are in and you cycle as fast as your legs can work. Its simplicity on a bike, low maintenance, low weight etc
I commute about 10 miles a day on mine and love it.
The only thing that slows you down is your own fitness.
