Default saxo vts rear engine mount replacement bush (doesnt fit?)

i bought this from euro car parts-

337735010 ENGINE MOUNT REAR AX/SAXO ALSO PEUGEOT 106
Lower Engine Mount

it is a rubber bush with metal outer casing, which supposodly, you just press in on the engine mount.

has anyone done this before with a rubber bush with metal outer casing?

no way does it fit in there, its been looked at by 2 garages and they both said its the wrong bush.

double checked with euros, they say deffo right one, online says right one also.

it looks like this one on ebay-

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/106-GTi-Saxo-V...3A1|240%3A1318

but its just a standard one.

so people, how do they fit!? i was thinking of grinding away the metal casing then fitting just the rubber bush, but i duno! if it dont work then i wont be able to get refund on the bush obviously.

Looks like the correct fitment. Pretty sure they are a push fit into the engine mount (ie loads of force with a hydraulic press), not something you can do easily at home, or under the car. Have you got the engine mount off and the old bush out already?
Once this is fitted you know the car will feel kinda weird? Vibrations you never knew you had etc...
Don't try and remove the metal surround, that is just wrong.

Agent orange, if he got it from euro car parts then its gonna be a standard direct replacement.

Take a pic of the mount unless its identical to the one on ebay.

tbh, id return it and ask for a refund and buy the one off ebay anyway as it will last longer and is a very good mod.

the one which came out is all rubber, no outer metal casing.

yeah i was going to use a big press, but he said no point trying, it wont fit, too big.

its almost identical to the ebay one, just the rubber bush looks less bulky, but it looks same outer casing and same inner metal bit.

i have removed the old one and old bush yes.

and iv never driven the car and never will so thats ok about the vibrations lol.

i spoke about removing the metal casing because without that, it looks the right size, its just a bit too big by looks of it.

i dont want an uprated one at all, its just being fitted to sell the car.
