Yeah i do like your car. I wish mine was black! Is this just a track car or do you use it as a daily aswell?
Yeh I remember seeing you on track a couple of times now. I enjoyed watching your car cock a rear wheel into the left-hander just before the mountain.

Your engine must be nice and healthy, I can remember your car been quick on the straights

Haha, mines a daily as well, thats why I can't go too hardcore yet

Gotta love the mountain. Came off there though 2nd time out. Engine is really good for a vtr. feels so much better than my old vtr. Surprised it was cocking a wheel on standard bridgestones!!

Small update......

Removed my 'EGR' valve and made a nice little blanking plug for the hole in the head...

The whole system weighed 2.5kgs! So quite a nice saving

I've also taken my white TD Pro Race 1.2's off before my CL brake pads started to ruin them. I've put a set of Toyo CF1's on my black VTR wheels instead of the AO48's and I'm going to use them as my road wheels for now.

Few pics I took the other night...

The plan is to purchase a second set of VTR wheels, powder coat them black and fit the A048's ready for some more tack action in summer

My TD 1.2's are up for grabs if anyone is interested.

Thanks for looking.

Another small update.....

Basically, found my Dads holesaw and decided to try and reduce the parachute affect caused by the rear bumper.....

Small update.....

Bought a TRS steering wheel cover so I don’t ruin the suede on my steering wheel even more....

Also bought a tinted visor for my helmet....

More soon, I have a small piece of carbon fibre on the way, a larger piece of Perspex and an even bigger bit of fibre glass

Right then, another small update....

I wanted to remove my sunroof mainly due to the weight but I also never use it and it leaks.

So after a little while reading through a few threads on here, I decided to use a sheet of 3mm black Perspex.

After measuring up the hole in the roof, I ordered a custom cut piece from some guys on eBay. All that was left for me to do was radius the corners.

The sheet when it arrived...

After cutting the corners...

I then proceeded to remove the sunroof; this included the glass, mechanism, plastic surround and I also cut the metal frame out as well.

Then after some measuring, marking, drilling, bonding and a few rivets, I ended up with this...

Very happy with the results, I don’t even notice the difference from the outside

All that is left the do is trim the silicone and paint the rivets black.
