Evening Rob, it's coming along slow but steady.
Just bought a house which will be built this fall.
So I had to shift my priorities a bit
Ordered the last week, when they arrive I'll post up some pics.
No worries, I will finish this project!

That's some serious engine work, good to see it being done properly, can't wait to see it in the car

Some nice parts you have got yourself, will be looking forward to some pics of it all fitted.
How much did you spend on the clutch ? (If you don't mind me asking) cheapest paddle clutch I have found is an omp one which is £300 meh !

Hey rowan. I see you have a sprung clutch plate. Torque will be limited on that clutch. Did you have an end power figure (torque) in mind?

The clutch kit was about £250 and is guaranteed up to 40% increase in torque.
I am fully aware that a lug driven could take way more and would be a better option with the future in mind.
But for now this will do, as this build is a constant equation of quality/durability and budget with no numerical target in mind (BHP/Torque)
Your reaction is much appreciated though, always good to get some feedback

Hey buddy
Yeah we see slip in real use (not just dyno lol) when running above about 250ft/lb on a sprung clutch with pressed cover - BUT the price is much nicer than the lug drive options (and nicer for your clutch pushing leg muscles!).
Parts are looking really good man - I'm excited for you!

Gold baby!
Stainless for various brackets and such
But more of notice, I've finally started with the actual build!
Baked myself an oilpan
Ready to get cracking
Fitted fan and string-fitted intercooler
Interior gone and loom ready for sorting out
Out with the old
Enginebay ready for cleaning and painting
The garage at the moment
