Cheers matey was thinking the same today about doing the badge.
Bit peed off about the engine covers as noticed today that they've started peeling and bubbling already and only fitted them on the car on Thursday.
Not happy

Well heres the pics of the messed up engine covers.
Fitted them thursday evening after picking them up and heres what i noticed yesterday when my bonnet was getting wrapped.
ECU cover peeling and bubbling
And then on this just near the bolt you can see it flaking off.

Ive been in touch with the lad who sprayed them and asked them if he had used high temp paint on them and also asked if they had been primered aswell before and he said they have and the only thing he said he could put it down to was my engine must be running too hot but i can assure its not.

You shouldn't need high temp paint on the covers as far as I recall.
In my opinion (and I could be wrong), it doesn't look like its been sanded down and primered. Looks like paint over the top jobbie.
Like I said, I could be wrong but thats what it looks like from the pic of the covers

That's not heat that's done that mate its the wrong kind / no plastic primer used. When painting them the lad should have looked at the type of plastic (abs, pvc, pps, polyurethane) Says on the back of the pannel and matched the primer to that. A good jet washing should bring it all off or a good hose down with some compressed air
Car looks better now its had the bonnet wrapped.
