Default --- Rowan's Saxo VTS Turbo ---

Been on saxperience a while now, just looking around.
Thought I'd start up a thread.

It all started with a '96 red VTR (one of the first of the line )

It ran 123.8 at the crank.

But every good thing comes to an end...

My EX-girlfriend borrowed my car and gave it back to me in this state

All said and done, I sold the wreck and got a 16V

All the parts I could salvage from my old VTR went on the VTS.

Threw in the ICE

Added Injen air intake, raceland manifold and custom stainless exhaust without cat and the Invidia muffler.

Bit of cleaning here

LED tail lights

Got a feckin sweet deal on Brembo calipers with Carbone Lorraine pads.

-Old EBC brakes-

Old vs new discs

new calipers

more cleaning

Polyestered my rear panels so they would fit the 17cm Apline R-series speakers

And then it was time for a bit of maintenance...

New rad, timing belt, clutch and a good service. So figured it was easiest to pull out the engine

Refurbed the mani while I was at it

Mate helping out by cleaning the muck of the engine bay

And this is how she stands now

I'm jealous.. Will do that! But I think it would be with the sax or by plane. Don't think I'll survive a 1000 KM one way ride on my crotchrocket
