EZBZ
I bought a couple driveshafts from him and the delivery company were useless from the start. The first time they tried to deliver, they kept going to the wrong address and were then returned to sender. I told EZBZ that he should not send them with the same delivery company as they are known to be pretty useless in my neck of the woods. However, EZBZ sent them again via the same delivery company, this time to the correct address. I contacted the delivery company to say not to deliver as I would collect it from the depot.
I went to the depot but they told me that no such parcel existed and so when I checked online I found that the company had returned them again to sender. I now have no desire for the driveshafts, all i want is a refund. I said I would like a refund minus the cost of the delivery but I have had absolutely no progress. He told me that he sent a refund and that it should have cleared by now but this was a complete lie.
EZBZ was a top guy in the beginning, really helpful and quick responses but since the deal went sour I cant get anywhere with him. All I want to know is what is going to happen now? Can Saxp please ban this member or do something?

A few threads below this another member had similar issues with the same chap.
Did you pay by paypal gifts or goods?
If goods, get a claim in ASAP you WILL get your money back
If gift, you're f*cked basically
Hope you sort it

Never send payment by GIFT unless its a friend or someon you have dealt with before.
You cannot refund gift payments to get reimbersed you will need seller to send you a gift payment.
Banning member will do little get you funds back, leave the appropriate itrader feedback so others are aware.
I have said this before and I will say it again you cannot expect the moderators on the forum to ensure YOU transactions are free from abuse it is down to the individual to take care of his money not the forum.
I hope you get a refund but as it was a gift I doubt the seller will oblige and send you your money I would say at least you were decent enough to allow him to keep the cost of postage which you didnt have to so he wont be out of pocket
Good luck

Well its not exactly his fault is it, its the courier.. They were at fault, not him, so why stop him personally from trading?

well he hasnt refunded so is in part to blame as he still has goods and the buyers money. I for one think the buyer has been really fair in only asking for funds for goods back and not carriage also buyer did warn seller not to use a certain carrier due to issues

its just annoying to have been ripped off and having no way to get a refund. Definitely not paying via gift again!
@Smiith - i dont think it matters if it was the fault of the courier as the seller has a contract with the delivery company and can at least complain to them with the hope of getting their money back, but what can I do? nothing.

Sorry to say this mate, but if he wont refund you and the bits dont come, you're f*cked
As said you cant claim, I-trader should be taken with a pinch of salt imo, ALWAYS send by good to cover your back, even on a £600 purchase fee's are only like £20.
£20 to protect £600 is not alot of money, and to think most purchases are only £50-£150, you dont even need to spend that...its only around a fiver

paypal fees are 3.4% + 20p so as you ^^^^ say is it worth paying as a gift
moreover any genuine seller will figure paypal fees into their costs as I do

Well to be fair, the 2nd time he sent it, you asked for something to be delivered, then wanted to pick it up from the depo without them delivering it... I dont know anyone who has done this before, as it is their job to deliver to the address provided.

This happens all the time, what about people who work 9 til 5 but delivery is going to happen between those hours? How would they ever get their package?

I didnt have a problem with him either in the beginning, everything was fine, its just that delivery failed so the items were returned to sender and now he is refusing to give me a refund. So he has the items and my money.

Get it delivered to work, ask the local post office if it can be delivered there... ALL my packages go to a post office..
