Default Paxo's Mk1 VTR/S Turbo - all parts for sale!

Passed my test in april, searched for the right car until October , when i finally found a nice saxo in good condition.
1997 P reg Mk1 VTR, 1 owner from new, only done 57,000 miles. Got it for 1600 quid

Couldn't get insured until my 18th birthday (22nd november) cos it was about 300 quid cheaper if i waited for a month so i did.

To be honest, not has changed in the 3 or so months i've had her.

I've recently started changing a few things, firstly

sprayed rear badges black,

Then just now i randomly decided to take all that black stuff off the door pillar, as it was all warped and most of it was hanging off

Still trying to decide whether to buy some more vinyl to stick on

As i'm a student(poor) i can't really afford too much at the moment, but eventually i'm looking to either get a vts or stick a vts engine in this car.

But first things first, i need to get my dent repaired

about a week after i got insured on it, i came out of school to find it with that huge dent in the side. no note or witnesses or anything, pretty gutting tbh. i have had the dent pulled out a bit, but the metal is stretched so it's not flat. haven't really got the money at the moment to get it filled/replaced.

Right, picked up some vtr wheels yesterday for 35 quid lol. all tyres need replacing, but still a bargain imo.

then went to halfords today and spent 60 quid on paint etc, as i'm going to spray the wheels gloss black.

spent all day trying to strip the paint off one wheel finally after using loads of sandpaper, and blistering all my fingers, i got it off and gave it a coat of etch primer.

I'm doing all this over the next few weeks, so hopefully i'll get a good finish when i'm done

oh and i didn't bother masking the tyres as i'm going to replace them all once the wheels are painted.

lovely car apart from the dent. Im looking to spray my vtr wheels aswell... u should have used that acid stuff thats used to thoroughly clean ur wheels I dont know what its called but ur only meant to put a little bit on your wheels and keep it on them for 5 mins max otherwise it will like burn the paint off. but if u are painting ur wheels then u want the paint to burn off I still need to do mine but i need to be saving up... MOT in april

i used nitro mors paint stripper. followed the instructions on the tin and tbh i found that all it did was remove the clear coat and paint, the original primer wouldn't budge, so i had to sand that back, which hurt lol

Also got my new smoked side repeaters

and i finished spraying my first wheel, so i stuck it on the car to see how it looks
