Wishbones were made to order by a guy here in greece , they are supposed to be 35mm wider per side

alloy bottom on the damper strut is part of the original peugeot 307 damper , we just pressed it off and inserted the strut "pipe" off std saxo/106 struts

still a dummy build to get a rough idea , could get more pics if you need any info or measurements

How much are the wishbones. We have a maxi kitted shell and need to sort the front without spacers.

wishbones were around 450 euro plus vat

thats with everything included to bolt on to the car and to 307 hubs, hubs and struts are not in the price

It would be worth giving the satchell group a ring ! they make complete sets and are quite helpful

Cheers alex. I'm most likely getting the satchell set up for my new arches if i can't get away with a spacer to start with.

Always worth keeping an eye out on what else is around though

i tried spacers mostly to get a rough idea of how the car will look at 30mm wider ,
they were awfull on track , car would be all over the place and steering was really heavy !

if i was in the uk i would definately go for the satchell kit , looks to be very well made and most importantly it has been used on loads of cars so they must have loads of info and feedback to work on

price is a bit steep but tbh you get exactly what you pay for !!!

i will be posting as much info as i can gather so feel free to ask if you want anything mate

Yeah I'd live the satchel setup. But on a fairly tight budget and do NOT want to use spacers. Have the back axel sorted.

interesting update

after playing with different driveshaft set ups we have concluded to something that actually fits

left side was sort of easy with using parts of both sides of the original 307 driveshafts

one is on the car this being the second one for spares

code reading "Annie drivers side ok"

right hand side was trickier though

had to have them shortened by 100mm

again one is for spare
no pic of them finished as i had to order a special plyer tool to fit the security seals on the rubber joints

sort of a long update

since i was in search for an MA platted diff gearbox and shorter final drive for my other saxo , i decided to take out this gearbox 13/59 quaife and move on to a BE conversion !!!

so managed to get a BE4 J from a 1.6 8v xsara picasso with its driveshafts 20DL66 being the code stamped on it

driveshafts need sorting out again

also managed to get a slightly used GRT plated diff from a mate of mine
grt being a greek company that specializes in racing , you might know them by their matte black mentally aerodynamic 106

and started taking it apart to see exactly what FD i have to play with and what gear ratios are easily available

might source a xsara picasso gear lever kit and push rods to see if it easier to place that instead of fiddling about ...

think the gearing might need shortening a little , so any recomendations will be apreciated

more BE gearbox update !

managed to get hold of a citroen dispatch diesel gearbox, this has a shorter final drive

mated everything up in the xsara picasso box , so now in theory i have a gearbox that will top out at 130(ish) mph not too bad for a N/A saxo

BE conversion nearly done !!!

finished all the engine mounts and cut the hole bigger for the cps

upper engine mount , took the alloy casing off and made a 17mm shorter steel one so that the engine sits level

lower gearbox mount , cut an std one and welded it to fit

used another old gearbox mount and modified it to fit the driveshaft mount

and fitted

then it was time to get the gear lever attached ....
we decided to keep the C2 gear lever and cables , so a base mount neede to be fabricated that will bolt on the gearbox and secure the cables in place , we also used part of the original selector pivot system ( easier to show than explain )
