I want an Iphone

But i don't want to be tied to a contract and they all seem to be pretty poor with barely any texts..

I have an O2 Payasyougo sim with a text bolton, could i get an unlocked i phone and put this in?

Also, how much shoud i be looking at paying for a 3g i phone, not the 3Gs

Skint at the mo, im doing a bit of research first before i take the plunge.

£342.50 to buy a 3g on PayG and you get 12month free wifi/data..

If i hacked it/jailbreak etc, would i be able to get free internet access after the 12months?

Basically, i want everything, just don't want a contract.

be warned if you get an unlocked iphone, and plug it into your computer for music etc, it'll automatically readjust itself to o2.. my mates did and i've been warned by others aswell just to save you fucking around

im not 100% sure if he had a fucking dodgy one mind.. just trying to help out like, just be careful with unlocked ones

sorry "electabuzz" but that certainly isnt true, ive had every iphone model out, jailbreaked them and unlocked them myself and used them on other networks and plugged them into itunes and it has never "automatically readjusted itself to 02".

i have a 3G iphone with uprated battery for £200. unlocked and jailbreaked so you can use your current simcard with it.

Its if you update it without a jailbreak and unlock available then it goes back to 02, but theres usually a jailbreak and unlock about a week after every update (:

With a jailbreak you can unlock the iphone, and use any sim, but this wont allow you free internet, you will have to get that on your sim, unless you only use Wifi
