3 is handing out FREE mobile broadband dongles to anyone who registers on http://www.3dongle4free.co.uk

The Pay As You Go device will get your laptop onto the internet in next to no time, just plug it in and it automatically installs the software needed to get you connected.

It’ll give speeds of up to 3.6Mbps, which is probably faster than many home internet streams.

But you’ll have to top it up by at least £10 to get it working, and pay £4.95 postage for the dongle itself.

So it’s not really free at all, but you’re still making a pretty good saving.

It’s a very handy device to have when there’s no WiFi nearby.

It will flash the dongle with different unlocked software. Make sure you flash it in windows xp.

The settings you will need for the O2 iPhone Simcard is:

You can also put a MicroSD Card in the side of the Dongle and use it as storage too. Well worth paying the P&P

I dont understand do i have to put the tenner on it to flash it ?

and if i use my iphone o2 sim will the internet be free of charge as i have unlimited data?

No you put the £10 on the o2 simcard (if you already have one dont worry) its only for peeps who are going to buy a iphone sim from ebay, you need to put £10 on it to activate it.

If you already have an iPhone simcard you will get free internet if you get free data.

You can always stick to the 3 simcard that comes with the dongle in the first place. The tariff is as follows:

£10 - Broadband Lite 1GB enables you to:
- Send 1000 Outlook/HTML Emails
- Surf the web for 10 hours
- Download 5 four minute videos
- Download 32 four minute music tracks

£15 - Broadband Plus 3GB enables you to:
- Send 3000 Outlook/HTML Emails
- Surf the web for 30 hours
- Download 15 four minute videos
- Download 96 four minute music tracks

£25 - Broadband Max 7GB enables you to:
- Send 7000 Outlook/HTML Emails
- Surf the web for 70 hours
- Download 35 four minute videos
- Download 224 four minute music tracks

Also another thing to remember is if you use the 3 simcard that comes with the dongle, when you topup it lasts 30 days then you have to topup again even if you havent used all your allowence
